Dubbed a “Moxie Maven” in 2012 by the White House Office of Public Engagement for my unique and effective approach to vocal empowerment, I’m a sought-after keynote speaker, executive communication and thought leadership coach, strategic advisor, and Fractional Chief Learning Officer. My sweet spot — and what sets me apart — is the intersection of executive communication and learning and development: helping organizations not only elevate how their leaders communicate, but also build cultures where every employee feels empowered to speak up. As a values-driven leader, I’ve supported thousands of executive and senior-level leaders, coaches, trainers, speakers, and experts through my Step into Your Moxie keynotes, organizational offerings, online training, live events, and mastermind programs. I’m also the creator of the first-of-its-kind Step into Your Moxie® Certification, which prepares leaders — and the coaches, managers, and trainers who develop them — to speak up for the ideas and issues that matter most, while empowering their employees, patients, and clients to do the same.

I was named one of the Top 50 Coaches in the World by Thinkers50, the “Oscars of the management world.” That recognition didn’t come from a formula. It came from 25+ years of doing the hard work alongside founders, CEOs, and senior leaders at some of the world’s most demanding companies. I work across three worlds: Founders & startup CEOs: navigating the leap from scrappy builder to real CEO. I’ve coached leaders at startups like The Wirecutter, Venmo, Etsy, and DraftKings. C-suite leaders at Fortune 500 companies, including Dell, IBM, Microsoft, Pfizer, Sony, The New York Times, and Calvin Klein, who work with me to become visionary leaders who lead with more strategic intention, influence, and executive presence. Coaches who want to build serious businesses. Great coaching skills alone don’t build a solid practice. I help coaches learn the skills to build sustainable, thriving practices.

The gift is in the listening. What arrives is precision · Embodiment · Trauma Restoration · Leadership Facilitation The leaders I work with are not failing. They are full. Full of what they have carried, absorbed, managed, and held together for others. What they are looking for is not another framework. It is a place where something long held can finally be set down. If you recognise that, you are in the right place. I work with leaders, teams, and those inside social change movements at a genuine threshold. Where what got you here is no longer enough for what is being asked of you now, and where the next move is not yet clear, not because you have not thought hard enough, rather because thinking is not the instrument this particular moment requires.

Over the years, she has held several leadership roles at JTI, including Global Brand Manager, Consumer Shopper Insights Manager, and Research Manager. Her background combines strategic thinking, market insight, and performance management, supported by experience in project management and education.

I started my career staring into screens… looking at graphs, assessing performance, counting bits and bytes, debugging firmware, and ensuring that things worked as expected. Then I realized that enabling others has a force multiplier effect. That and that the people don’t come with schematics and how-tos. Over time, I traded test benches for teams by becoming a consultant, facilitator, Agile trainer, coach and eventually gestalt psychotherapist (currently under supervision). I learned that leading humans isn’t about control, it’s about connection. Today in a people management role, I bring both worlds together: the analytical mindset of an engineer and the empathy of a coach. I’m still driven by the same curiosity, now aimed at how people grow, collaborate, and build things that matter together. If you like systems thinking, human stories, or the strange beauty of both intertwined, we’ll probably get along just fine.

“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”

Valentina Djordjevic is a huge Data Science enthusiast. Graduating from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, she faced the challenge of packing her (then irreconcilable) interests into a unique career path-cutting machine. Still, she is a real “fox” when it comes to her areas of interest, so we have no doubt that this has given her good signposts. Valentina finds motivation in challenging projects and in working with equally enthusiastic team members. She believes that working on the Data Science challenges helps her to continually grow, examine (her) boundaries, and develop her imagination. Still, she has not yet determined whether the fact that she has never solved the same problem in exactly the same way is a good or bad thing. She hopes her colleagues, or maybe someone in the community, will help her finally come up with the correct answer.
