I started my career staring into screens... looking at graphs, assessing performance, counting bits and bytes, debugging firmware, and ensuring that things worked as expected. Then I realized that enabling others has a force multiplier effect. That and that the people don’t come with schematics and how-tos. Over time, I traded test benches for teams by becoming a consultant, facilitator, Agile trainer, coach and eventually gestalt psychotherapist (currently under supervision). I learned that leading humans isn’t about control, it’s about connection. Today in a people management role, I bring both worlds together: the analytical mindset of an engineer and the empathy of a coach. I’m still driven by the same curiosity, now aimed at how people grow, collaborate, and build things that matter together. If you like systems thinking, human stories, or the strange beauty of both intertwined, we’ll probably get along just fine.
